Pac Bo is a small mountainous village
in Trung Hoa commune, Ha Quang district, Cao Bang province, 350 km
north of Hanoi. Pac Bo is known nationwide as a revolutionary
resistance base. The famous Coc Bo cave is where President Ho Chi Minh
established his residence and worked on Vietnam’s revolutionary course
after returning from 30 years abroad.
Nguom Ngao is one of the largest
caverns located inside a mountain among the range of limestone mountain
in Gun hamlet, Dam Thuy commune, Trung Khanh district.
Cao Bang province is famous nationwide
for its scenic spots, like the Ban Doc waterfall, Nguom Ngao grotto and
Thang Hen lake, but more than that, for its impressive image as one of
Vietnam’s first revolutionary bases full of historical significance.
As a northernmost province of the
country, Cao Bang is famous for its renowned landscapes such as Thang
Hen Lake, Pac Po Cave, Ban Gioc Waterfall, and Nguom Ngoa Grotto.
Ban Gioc is the probably the most
beautiful and imposing waterfall in Vietnam. It is situated in Dam Thuy
Commune, Trung Khanh district, near the Sino-Vietnamese border, about
85km from Cao Bang and it takes 4 hours by car to go there.
