Silver stone island the spot for oysters

Known colloquially as “the silver stone,” Hon Da Bac Island has gained a reputation as southern Vietnam’s spot for do-it-yourself oysters as visitors have a chance to dive for their own shellfish.

Binh Thuy Communal House

Binh Thuy Communal House, known in the past as Long Tuyen Communal House, is located in Binh Thuy Ward, 5km from the centre of Can Tho. To reach the Communal House, follow Nguyen Trai Road past Cach Mang Thang Tam Road and Le Hong Phong Road.

Acient House in Binh Thuy - Can Tho province

It deals with an ancient house in Binh Thuy. The owner is respected Mr. Duong Minh Hien, an old sentimental man, by chance, remaining in the XX century. It is just thanks to its maintained ancientness that this house was chosen as one of recording sites for the romantic film "Lover" of producer J. Annaud.

Can Tho - Tay Do

Can Tho is situated about 179 kilometres from Ho Chi Minh City where the river Tien, the river Hau along with three minor tributaries converge. It has been the capital of the six provinces in the southwest of Vietnam for centuries.
